A graduate from London College of Communication. This is Burton's first short, prior to this film, he made shorts mostly for himself to learn and experiment. As an illustrator, he drew the storyboard and his production company Light Brigade Pictures, partly funded the film.

Took a filmmaking course in Central Film School London in April 2013 and then found his way into the industry, learning the trade by working on set with the industry professionals and gradually started working his way up the career ladder. Make-up 

Having completed courses in Design for Performance at Central Saint Martins, a Degree in Technical Effects for Film received from London College of Fashion, (which involved prop making, moulds, casting, puppets and fabrication) a course in Prosthetic Makeup and Creature Creation from Neil Gorton's Millennium Effects Studio and a Diploma in Specialist Makeup from the Academy of Makeup in Sydney.

Gained extensive experience working on short films, low budget features and photo shoots, and enjoy creating realistic cuts, bruises and blood effects as well as straight makeup, high fashion and theatrical.
